For Easter this year, I happened to be off on Sunday which in and of itself was a real treat. Paul and I rarely have the weekends off together. It was a gorgeous spring day, sun was shining, snow was melting. Lola kitty let me sleep in, normally she is up chirping at the birds, or banging on the bedroom blinds to wake me up and feed her. Paul and I got up around 9:30 am which is sleeping in these days! We got all dressed up and took a walk to this Irish Bistro that was having and Easter buffet, which Paul had made reservations for. It was fantastic! The food was great, the atmosphere was awesome. The restaurant had not gotten busy yet, so we had a nice meal and then took a nice long walk further down the street and picked up some groceries at Trader Joes, love Trader Joe's even though I work for their direct competition, they have a great wine department. As a matter of fact they had this on wine which is normally $10 a bottle on sale for$3! Needless to say we got that along with our oatmeal lol...we took our time walking back home, and window shopped. We got back home around 3pm and there was my Lola basking in the sun on the back of the couch. She made it look so inviting, before I knew it I was on the couch with a blanket over me, Lola cuddled by my feet and taking a nap in the sun with her! What a great way to spend a Sunday!!!!
