At least somebody missed me today...

It was a long and tumultuous day at work, people arguing with you over the fact that you are trying to help them but they just don't care. After which I walked all the way home knowing I was forgetting something, only to walk in the door and realize I had forgot to hit the bank and it was now 4:47pm and they close at 5! So I quickly ran down to the bank. Fortunately we live in a small town so nothing is usually to far away. I made it with a bit of time to spare. Asked the barley legal teller if I could get a money order from my saving account. He tells me they don't do money orders. What kind of freakin' bank can't do a Money Order?!!! He tells me to see the hardware store across the street. I explain to him that it has to be from a bank not a hardware store and asked if he knew of any other banks in town that does do a money order. The chick next to him tells me the post office. Maybe you didn't hear me through your one step above a fast food joint speaker/microphone and bullet proof glass that it has to be a BANK! I didn't say this of course, I was close.

When I left there boiling over and annoyed, I get home and walk up the stairs to see my cat Lola waiting for me.As happy as a cat can be to see someone. Usually I come home for lunch but today I didn't make it, and Paul had been at school all day, so she had been home alone longer then usual. You wouldn't think she would care since she sleeps most of her day, but like to keep an eye on you. As I got the to the top of the stairs, I noticed there is a trail of my socks. Yes my socks, mostly clean. She had pulled them one by one out to the hallway, as "presents" for me when I got in. There they were all lined from the office in the hall to the living room. She sat right next to one looking quite pleased with herself. Hey I was just happy to see it wasn't a hacked up hairball or barf. At least somebody missed me today...Exhibit A, the other thing is a toy of hers...
Three more socks that were pulled into the living room...
