Okay so I have arrived safe and sound in my home and native land. Really it was a smooth trip overall. Customs here was easy and the officer was very friendly. Which is good cause I always feel like I am guilty of something even though I am totally honest..weird. Anywho..so far I have noticed major differences between the U.S and Canada, one being customs much nicer and more pleasent to deal with overall.
Upon my arrival I could smell the lovely scent of Polluted Sea water as opposed to diesel, smog and overall pollution. The next day I went to breakfast with a friend of mine and our server was Extremely pleasent, and acutally seemed like she meant it. Could be that she has a wonderful percription who knows either way it was a really nice change from the typical service I have experience in the U.S. Not only that I was able to have a coversation with my friend without having to yell over everyone else talking on their cell phones or being obnoxiously loud.
Another plus for Canada so far. I would not have believed this if I had not seen it for myself. On the way to the Airport when leaving to come to Canada, I was sitting on the train watching the traffic and there was this on particular driver who seemed to be going dangerously slow for a highway. To the point where the guy behind her was about to drive into her trunk should she hit her breaks. I thought at first she was having car problems but didn't notice any hazard lights or anything indicating there was a problem. As she finally caught up and maintained normal speed I noticed she was text messaging while driving!!! I was shocked.
In Halifx, it has become a law that you are not allowed to use your cell phone while driving, and it is acutally enforced!!!
Man it feels good to be home!!!!!
