Well here I am back in the the Grand Ol' U.S. of A, and I have to admit I have some mixed emotions about the whole thing. I am glad to be back home with my husband, but miss Canada tremendously. Seeing my family and friends reminded me that I am okay. There is a defiante difference between most Canadians and most Americans, and truth be known maybe it depends on where you live in both places as well.
Population wise I prefer Canada, I can drive in what locals call heavy traffic and its nothing compared to what I have experienced while driving in the U.S simply cause of the amount of people on the roads. In Halifax the population might be at 900,000 here I think there is close to 5 or 6 million in ONE CITY!!! I like my space, what can I say.
I guess during the remainder of my time here I will just have to keep toughing up my skin and make plenty of visits back to the motherland.
Oh one last observation I made, when I was going through Customs in Canada to enter the U.S. the guy was not rude, just acted like I was a complete waste of his time. Makes you feel special and warm and fuzzy doesn't it?! Realistically its very rare to come across a Customs Officer who is pleasant on either side.
